9 Months!

Happy 9 Months, Lydia!
We'll go in for her 9 month appointment next week, so we'll know her exact measurements then.  Lydia has been wearing 9-12 month sleepers for a month already because she's so long, and we've officially broken out the rest of the 9-12 month clothes this past week.  I'm pretty sure she's entered another growth spurt this past week, though, because she can't seem to ever eat enough!

Lydia's eating and sleeping schedule is still similar to what it was last month, with the exception of her wake-up time.  For the past 2-3 weeks, Lydia has woken up around 6:15-6:30 am like clockwork.  It wouldn't be so bad except it can sometimes throw nap times off.  Anyway, she doesn't get breakfast until about 7 or so and will go down for another nap about 10.  Like always, Lydia will sleep anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours for naps...you never know!  She gets a bottle around 11, lunch around 12:30, another nap about 3 hours after she last woke up, a bottle around 4, supper around 6:30, and bedtime is around 8:30!  We are blessed that she still continues to sleep through the night, with a one night exception while we were on vacation this month!

Taking your picture this month was even more challenging because you just wanted to roll over and crawl away!  Yes, you're a crawler now!  We had a lot more "firsts" this month: crawling, your two bottom teeth, starting to pull up and stand next to things (although you usually forget you need to hang on...), a cold, clapping by yourself, and your first trip to the Dells with the TC family!  Wow!  You still love to play with all sorts of toys, but you love to explore more...you love all the low windows in our house, being underneath the piano, getting into things you're not supposed to (and I thought the house was childproof!), being chased, being outside, jumping, water, being loud (you are your father's child!), reading books, seeing daddy come home, and more. There's not too many things you don't like.  You don't like to be overly tired, sitting still for too long (again: your father's child!), and hearing the town's 6:00 siren--even if we're inside!

Little girl, you have a huge personality that we love seeing develop more and more every day!  It's so hard to believe that you're nine months old already!  These nine months went way quicker than the nine we waited for you to make your arrival!  We love you to pieces, Lydia!
