Happy eight months, Lydia!
We haven't weighed you yet, but I'm guessing you're on the better side of 20 pounds! You're getting close to outgrowing your 6-9 month clothes, but Mommy is having a hard time feeling like you could be that old already!
You are still SO close to crawling. You don't really miss this mode of movement since you still manage to get around anywhere you want. It's almost like any electrical cord has a magnet on it...you are drawn to it! And it seems like you've been working on your bottom two teeth for the past two weeks. Thankfully, this hasn't affected you too badly, but you are a little bit more touchy at times. We're excited for them to pop through soon!
You are still sleeping through the night (yay!), and wake up anywhere from 6:30-7:30. And you wake up talking...loudly! You usually take naps around 10 and 2:30/3, but there isn't usually a set amount of time you'll sleep. We have also stopped giving you cereal, as per doctor recommendation. Hopefully this will help with your digestion :( Just fruits, veggies, and nasty-smelling pureed meats for you!!! Thankfully you eat anything we put in front of you!
This month you are talking and laughing a LOT! You have also started to blow raspberries while riding in the car. This usually means your shirt is wet by the time we get to our destination! You love to read and turn the book pages, stand (with our help) next to things, be outside, and "swim." You might be starting to wave, or it might just be you waving your arms when you're really excited...it's quite hard to tell! You also love to see Daddy come home from work!
You don't have very many dislikes, except being overly tired. You're a very happy baby, and we are very blessed!
We love you, baby girl!
