Although she's been acting like it for several months, Lydia is now officially two! Here's an update on Lydia:
Lydia is about 33 inches tall and weighs just over 27 pounds. She's wearing a combination of 24 months and 2T clothing, size 5 shoes, and size 4 diapers.
Lydia is talking more and more, and she is putting a two to three words together at times. It's still tough for other people, besides close family members, to understand what she is trying to say sometimes. Lydia still also insists on calling the Grandmas and Mommy, "Mommy." Her imagination is really taking off, and she loves to play with her new kitchen things, drive her car, and play dress-up.
Other things Lydia loves:
Helping Mommy bake and do other chores around the house, baths, her Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? slide & find book, anything Minnie Mouse related, looking at Christmas lights, opening presents (too bad she's done for another year!), bathing her doll with a baby wipe, giving eskimo and butterfly kisses, and eating ice cream.
Lydia's dislikes;
Carrots, naval oranges, being outside in the cold/snow, drinking milk, leaving her grandparents' houses, and keeping her mittens on.
We've been really busy this month with birthday and Christmas celebrations, but it's been a lot of fun with this little one. We can't believe we've already been blessed to have you in our lives for two years, Lydia!
